COVID-19 announcement

Welcome to Kung Fu New York!

Kung Fu enhances your power and focus, both external and internal. You get a complete work out, moving strongly and gracefully while gaining effective self defense skills. Your confidence expands; you feel vitalized and free.

Why Kung Fu?

Kung Fu is physical and mental training in one. It is a beautiful and fascinating way to fulfill your body's need to move while giving your brain exercise as well. As you develop your posture, breathing and focus, relaxation joins strength, your emotions ease, endorphins fill you with joy

Both aerobic and muscular, Kung Fu is a complete exercise, using all parts of your body, moving in nearly every direction. Using a variety of fists, hand positions, you are striking and blocking close range and far, high and low; kicking front, side and back, spinning turning, leaping. Each new form you learn expands your vocabulary of movement, giving you multiple options for spontaneous responses, surprising you with your flexibility and range.
